A CBSE Capacity Building Training on Values Education for Teachers was held in the Vivekananda Auditorium of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on December 27th, 2022. Twenty-eight teachers from four institutions – Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Khonsa, Kidzee & Sunshine High School Assam, Government Secondary School Lazu, and Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar – participated in the program.

Nandita G. Sarma, a Psychological Counsellor from DPS, Digboi, served as the resource person and led a highly engaging discussion on values education.

Following the discussion, all participating teachers were presented with certificates.

A two-day workshop on LED bulb and tube light making was held at the Vivekananda Sabhagriha of the Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on July 14th and 15th, 2022. Students from the electronics section of classes 7 to 9, along with other interested students, participated in the training. Led by resource person Sri Siddhartha Deb from Tinsukia, Assam, the students gained valuable insights into the concepts and techniques involved in LED bulb making. By the end of the workshop, the participants had successfully produced approximately 88 bulbs and 50 tube lights.
