Achievements

The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh presented the State Teacher Award to Sri Debaisish Roy, a teacher, on September 5, 2023, in Itanagar. 
Sri Netai Chandra Dey, a teacher in the Secondary section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 2023.
Her Excellency, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which was held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi .Sri N.C.Dey was honoured with a certificate, a silver medal, and a prize amount of Rs. 50,000.
Sri Snehasish Pathak, a teacher in the higher secondary section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 2011. His Excellency, Sri Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which was held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi. Sri S. Pathak was honoured with a certificate, a silver medal, and a prize amount of Rs. 25,000.

Sri Chandrashekhar Chatterjee, a teacher in the junior section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 2007.
Her Excellency, Smt Pratibha Patil, the President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which ws held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi .
Sri C S Chatterjee was honoured with a certificate, a silver medal, and a prize amount of Rs. 25,000.

Sri Amal Kumar Maity, a teacher in the higher secondary section of our school, was awarded the ‘National Teachers' Award’ on 5 September 2006. The President of India, gave away the award in a special function organized by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India, which was held at Vijnan Bhavan, New Delhi .


Shri Amal Kumar Maity received 'National Teacher Award' from the then Vice-President of India (5 September 2001).
Shri Samerandra Dutta received the State Best Teacher Award on 05th September 1995 from the then Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.


Shri Rameshwar Roy received the State Best Teacher Award on 05th September 1994 from the then Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.


Shri Bhabesh Chandra Sarkar received the State Best Teacher Award on 05th September 1993 from the then Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
Shri Manwang Lowang received a gallantry award from the then President of India for saving the life of a drowning student on 6th December, 1976.

Achievements during the academic year 2021-22

 Academic Achievements

In class X, 38 students appeared and all students passed. 36 students passed in 1st Division and 02 in 2nd Division. 04 students scored 90% and above, 12 scored 80% and above. Master Ngaisung Ngemu was the highest scorer with 94.20% and in class XII, 29 students appeared and all students passed; 28 passed in 1st Division and 01 in 2nd Division. 02 students scored 90% and above, 07 students scored 80% and above. Master Dorjee Khandu Naksang was the highest scorer with 93.40%.
Sports & Games Achievements
We believe that health is the soul that animates all the activities of life. Therefore all the physical training programmes are taken in right earnest in our school. There are six playgrounds and a stadium. Students enjoy playing games like Football, Volleyball, Basketball & Cricket etc.; Carom and Table Tennis are played as indoor games.
Interblock/house tournaments were held among the students in various games. In the Higher Secondary section, Acharya Ramanuja Block was the winner in football, volleyball, basketball and cricket. In the Secondary section, Prithviraj Chauhan House was the winner in football, Rana Pratap House was the winner in Volleyball, Samrat Ashoka House was the winner in Basketball & Cricket.
47th Annual Athletic meet was held on 9th & 10th December 2022. Ms. Vishakha Yadav, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deomali, Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh, the chief guest inaugurated the meet and addressed the students. Mst. Khulin Kakho of class VI, Mst. Pema Wangdi of class IX & Mst. Nokman Wangpan of class XII were judged champions in their respective groups. Swami Premaghanananda, Assistant Secretary declared the meet closed in the evening.
