The Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar successfully carried out a winter relief program in the remote regions of Arunachal Pradesh from December 4 to 20, 2024. 500 blankets and 500 fleece jackets were distributed to those in need across the Tirap and Changlang districts.
The relief efforts reached several villages, including Moktwa 1, Moktwa 2, Viveknagar, Mopaya, Jumdang, and 2 no. Coffee Board Villages in Tirap district. In Changlang district, the program extended to Yanman, Makantong 1, Makantong 2, Longkey, Khimiyong, Waphang, Thamlom, and Longsang under the Khimiyong block.
This initiative aimed to mitigate the hardships faced by local communities during the harsh winter months. By providing warm clothing, the program sought to improve the well-being and comfort of residents in these remote and often underserved areas.
