
On Saturday, 13th June 2026, the Youth Cell of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar organized a special programme at the Chetana Hall, Higher Secondary Section. The theme of the gathering was “चरित्र निर्माण से राष्ट्र निर्माण” (Nation Building through Character Building), echoing the timeless vision of Swami Vivekananda.
The programme commenced with an opening song by the Higher Secondary students. The soulful rendition created a devotional atmosphere, filling the hall with inspiration and reverence.
Swami Ritapathananda, Vice Principal of Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar extended a warm welcome to the audience. In his address, he emphasized the importance of youth participation in nation‑building, reminding everyone that noble values and strong character are the true pillars of progress.
The students then performed a group recitation of the Swadesh Mantra. Their powerful voices instilled feelings of patriotism, unity, and dedication to the motherland, leaving a lasting impression on all present.
He urged students to cultivate honesty, discipline, self‑confidence, compassion, and selfless service. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, he encouraged the youth to become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
An engaging question‑and‑answer session followed, where students actively participated. Their thoughtful questions and the insightful responses made the discussion lively, informative, and deeply motivating.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Br. Bhudevachaitanya, Hostel Superintendent of the Higher Secondary Hostel. He expressed gratitude to the revered monks, teachers, and students for their contributions to the success of the event.
Finally, the students presented a closing song, bringing the programme to a meaningful and inspiring conclusion. Light refreshments were served, adding warmth to the fellowship.
