Governor Applauds Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar in the concluding Function of its Golden Jubilee celebrations
On September 11, 2023, a significant event took place in Tirap, where Lt. General Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd.), the Hon'ble Governor, attended the concluding function of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar, Observance of Universal Brotherhood Day, Commemoration of 125 years of Foundation of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math the headquarter of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar. The Governor as the Chief Guest, presented scholarships and awards to deserving students and motivated them to become exemplary citizens by following the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and serving the motherland.
Sri Wangki Lowang, Minister of PHE& WS, DoTCL, Arunachal Pradesh, the Guest of Honor, who also happens to be an alumnus of the institution, shared fond memories of his time at the institution and commended the Ramakrishna Mission for their outstanding service activities in the state. The Minister took the opportunity to felicitate teachers and students who had recently brought laurels to the institution.
The event attracted a diverse audience, including guests, villagers, and guardians, all of whom gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion. During the event, the Governor laid the foundation stone for a proposed new building of Ramakrishna Mission Sarada Vidyalaya, a co-educational primary school. Additionally, he paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda at the Vivekananda Statue situated at Vivekananda Marg, emphasizing the importance of Swami Vivekananda's teachings in today's world.
Several key officials, including the Deputy Commissioner of Tirap, the Superintendent of Police of Tirap, and the Commanding Officer of the 6th Assam Rifles, were present at the function, highlighting its significance in the region.
Swami Achyuteshananda, the Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar, warmly welcomed and expressed gratitude to the Governor for visiting the institution. Swami Vedasarananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Dibrugarh, delivered the vote of thanks.
Swami Jneyananda, the Principal of Ramakrishna Mission School Narottam Nagar, presented a comprehensive report on the Golden Jubilee celebrations and the achievements of the institution from 2000 to 2023. The students of the institution captivated the audience with their patriotic songs, adding a touch of cultural richness to the event.
Swami Vedasarananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh thanked the Hon’ble Governor for taking all pains to visit the institution irrespective of the weather and assured that his presence has boosted the morale and vigor of the students further to contribute to the motherland.
The institution was beautifully adorned with colourful decorations, creating a vibrant atmosphere that enhanced the sense of celebration and achievement. The presence of prominent figures, alumni, and officials underscored the institution's importance and its role in imparting education and instilling values inspired by Swami Vivekananda.
This event not only marked the culmination of a remarkable fifty years for Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar but also served as a reminder of the enduring legacy of Swami Vivekananda and his message of universal brotherhood. It celebrated the achievements of students, teachers, and the institution, reaffirming its commitment to the betterment of society and the development of the region.
Janmashtami - 7 September 2023

On Sri Krishna Janmashtami, 07th September 2023, a special puja was done at Devabhumi temple. Havan, Bhajans, Sri Krishna Nritya, and other rituals were performed. Following the ceremonies, devotees were given Khichuri Prasad.

Teacher's Day- 5 September 2023
At Vivekananda Sabhagriha, Teachers' Day was celebrated on September 5 in the evening. Students and teachers all performed during the event. The school's chief guest, Smt. Nandita Sharma, spoke to the students in the evening session. As a sign of appreciation from the organisation, gifts were given to the teachers. Following the event, dinner was provided to all teachers in the secondary dining room.
The 77 Independence Day – 15 August 2023

On August 15, 2023, the 77th IndependenceDay of India was celebrated with zeal in the Mahavir Stadium of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar. Students and employees from all wings of the institution took part in the events, which included the March Past, Patriotic Song, several drill performances, group dances, and so on. Swami Devapriyanandaji, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission in Imphal, hoisted the National Flag and addressed the audience. After the ceremony, everyone was given food packs. Students of Ramakrishna Mission School and Ramakrishna Mission Sarada Vidyalaya have performed Band display and action songs at the Independence Day celebrations at the sub-divisional headquarters in Deomali.

Special Programme
On July 24, 2023, a special programme took place at Vivekananda Sabhagriha to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the foundation of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, and the Golden Jubilee of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar.
Revered Swami Vimalatmanandaji a Senior Trustee of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math, and Governing Body Member of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math presided over the meeting. Swami Achyuteshananda ji, the Centre's Secretary, welcomed everyone, and Swami Vedasaranandaji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Misson, Dibrugarh proposed the vote of thanks.
The students captivated the audience with their presentation, which included a play based on scenes from Swami Vivekananda's life as well as a local Nocte tribal dance and group song. Teachers sang and performed bhajans on vocal and stringed instruments.
Diksha

On July 24th, 2023, most revered Swami Vimalatmananda ji initiated 46 spiritual aspirants.

Rath-Yatra (Lord Jagannath Return)

On June 28, 2023, the Lord Jagannath Return Chariot Festival took place. The journey started at the Devabhumi Temples and concluded at the primary hostel. The Ramakrishna Sangha sannyasins were accompanied in the celebrations by the students, faculty, and their families. Everyone was given prasad and juice at the primary hostel.

Rath-Yatra (Chariot Festival of Lord Jagannath)
Rath Yatra was celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on June 20, 2023.
The onward Journey of the Chariot commenced from the primary hostel after puja, a food offering, and arati. Students from all hostels, staff and their family members, and sannyasins took part in the celebrations.
Devotees offered puja to the deities on the chariot en route. The Yatra concluded at the Devabhumi temples. Prasad and juice was provided at the temple premises. Around 500 people took part in the celebrations.
Naveen Varan
Newcomers took the Vidyarti Vrata oath on June 8, 2023, at traditional worship in the Secondary Prayer Hall. The Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar, welcomed the new students who were enrolled this year. The newcomers then introduced themselves and sought the grace of all the Sannyasins.
At Vivekananda Sabhagriha in the evening, newcomers enthralled the audience with a lively cultural performance. Swami Achyuteshanandaji, the institution's secretary, and Swami Shivapremanandaji, a special guest from the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, addressed and blessed the students.
Phalaharini Kali Puja

On the occasion of Phalaharini Kali Puja, also known as Shodashi puja in Ramakrishna Math and Mission centres, a special puja was done at the shrine in Vivekananda Cottage in the twilight hours of May 18, 2023.

Special Puja In Connection With Mahasamadhi of Rev. Vice President Maharaj
On Thursday, 13 April 2023, special puja and havan was performed in connection with the Mahasamadhi of Revered Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.
Following the bhogarati, 200 devotees and staff members were served prasad at the Secondary Dining Hall.
Holi Celebration

Holi, the festival of colours, was celebrated with excitement and zeal across the institution on Wednesday, 8 March, 2023. Earlier, at the Devabhumi temples, a special puja was performed for Sri Govind ji. Students of different hostels and staff members played colours at their respective fields.

Tithi Puja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna
On Tuesday, February 21st, 2023, the institution celebrated with traditional fervour Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna's one hundred eighty eighth birth day tithi puja. At the Secondary Prayer Hall a special puja and Havan for Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was performed. At the HS Hostel, Smt. Watsen Bangsia, of WRG College, Deomali, unveiled Ramakrishna Chetana, a wall magazine. All of the hostel prayer halls conducted early morning special arati to Holy Trio. At noon, khichuri prasad was served to everyone.
Maha Shivaratri

On Saturday, February 18, 2023, Maha Shivaratri puja was performed at Devabhumi temples. A special puja to Lord Maheshwara was performed, which was proceeded by a special abhisheka by monastic members of the institution. Staff and students attended the puja, and prasad was distributed to everyone.

Parting Ceremony

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, a Parting Ceremony was hosted at Vivekananda Sabhagriha for the graduating students of classes 10 and 12. With his presence and remarks, Revered Swami Suviranandaji, General Secretary,  Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, blessed the students. He gave them a token of gratitude in the form of a group photo of their batch and a book of Swami Vivekananda's works.

Saraswati Puja

Saraswati Puja, the worship of the Hindu Goddess of Knowledge, was held with enthusiasm and devotion at the Secondary Prayer Hall on Vasant Panchami, on January 26th, 2023. Special Worship, Havan, and other rituals were followed by Annabhoga. Following the puja, students and devotees offered puspanjali. In the evening a Special arati was performed to Mother Saraswati after the arati of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna.

'74' Republic Day (26-01-2023)
On January 26, 2023, the 74th Republic Day was celebrated with zeal at Mahavir Stadium.
Swami Shashankanandaji, a senior Ramakrishna Order monk, hoisted the tricolour and addressed the students. The students of the institution enthralled the audience with a variety of displays in honour of the tricolour. Following the function, everyone was given snack packs.
Golden Jubilee Celebrations (Phase - 2)
Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar observed the second phase of its Golden Jubilee Celebration and the 125th anniversary of the foundation of its headquarters Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission on the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose which heightened the festive mood of the campus. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein unveiled a Buddha Statue and inaugurated various developmental activities at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar. The presence of Most Revered Swami Suviranandaji, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission added a feather in the cap. 
Swamiji Tithi-Puja(14-01-2023)
Swami Vivekananda's 161st birthday was celebrated on the Ashrama grounds on Saturday, January 14, 2023. At the Secondary Prayer Hall, a special Puja and Havan was performed. Swami Aniketanandaji of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, unveiled Vivek Chetana, a wall magazine, at the Higher Secondary Hostel. 
In the morning, there was a special arati at the Primary and Higher Secondary Hostels.

National Youth Day (12-01-2023)

On 12th January 2023, at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar, Swami Vivekananda's 161st birthday—National Youth Day—was observed. Along with the monks and staff members of the school, Miss Vishakha Yadav IAS, ADC, Deomali, and Dr Madhav Roy from Boston, USA, attended the celebration at the Vivekananda Statue on Vivekananda Marg. The Higher Secondary Section students gave speeches and sang a variety of songs on Swami Vivekananda. Dr Madhav Roy and Miss Vishakha Yadav stressed the significance of Swamiji's message and its contemporary relevance. In his closing remarks, Swami Achyuteshanandaji, Secretary, encouraged the youth to serve the nation as a fitting tribute to the great patriot monk.

Kalpataru Divas (01-01-2023)

Auspicious ‘Kalpataru Divas’ has been celebrated at Thakur Ghar. Swami Indranathananda Ji Maharaj has delivered a brief speech on the significance of the auspicious day. Swami Divakarananada ji has guided the devotees to meditate. Sri Debopriya Das sir has presented devotional songs. At the end of the program, devotees have been served with Khichri Prasad.

Christmas Eve Celebration (24-12-2022)

Christmas Eve has been celebrated in the higher secondary hostel prayer hall on the evening of 24th December. The boys performed Christmas Carol and other bhajans. A discussion took place on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the significance of the Christmas Eve celebration in Ramakrishna order

Maa Sarada Tithi-Puja (15-12-2022)

The 170th birthday of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was celebrated at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on Thursday, 15 December 2022. Special Puja, Havan etc., were performed at the Secondary Prayer Hall. Wall Magazine Sarada Chetana was released at Higher Secondary Hostel. All were served with Khichuri prasad in the afternoon at the Secondary and Middle dining halls.

Children's Day Celebration (14-11-2022)

Children’s Day was observed at the schools of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar on 14th November 2022.

Theatrical Performance On Swamiji – Prabuddha Bharat (14-11-2022)

‘Prabuddha Bharat’ a theatrical performance on Swami Vivekananda was staged on 14th November 2022 at Vivekananda Sabhagriha of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar by the hostel students of classes 7 & 8 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Sri Sri Kali Puja Celebration (24-10-2022)

Sri Sri Kali Puja was celebrated with due solemnity and tradition on Monday, 24th October 2022 at Devabhumi Temples. Special Puja, Havan and Arati were performed. Khichuri Prasad was served to the devotees after the puja.

Viswakarma Puja – 17 September 2022

Viswakarma Puja was celebrated in our campus on 17th September 2022 with due solemnity. After Puja Prasad was served to all the staff members and devotees.

Swami Vivekananda Chicago Address - 11 September 2022
To commemorate the 129th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda Chicago Address and as a part of AzadiKa Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, a special function was held at the Higher Secondary Section Chetana Hall of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar.
Swami Vedasaranandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh, Chief Guest and Swami Achyuteshanandaji, Secretary of the institution addressed the gathering.
Teachers and students presented various speeches, stories, self-composed poems etc., on Swami Vivekananda. A special quiz, display of drawings of Swami Vivekananda etc., too mesmerized the audience. All were served with light refreshments after the function.
Teacher's Day-5 September 2022
Teachers’ Day was observed with a special programme held at the Vivekananda Sabhagriha of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar at 6.30 p.m. Dr.MonshiTayeng, Principal, Wangcha Rajkumar College, Deomali, was the Chief Guest. All the teachers, students and staff members with their families attended the programme.
Gifts were given to all the teachers on this occasion. All the teachers had dinner at the Secondary Hostel Dining Hall.
Janmashtami - 18 August 2022

Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with a special puja to Govinda Ji at Devabhumi Temples on Thursday 18thAugust 2022. Children dressed as Krishna and Balram performed dance and bhajans at the temple. While children of Primary Hostel sang various bhajans. Special arati to Mother Kali, Maheshwara Shiva was performed along with arati to Govindaji. All were served with Khichdi prasad at hand.

The 76 Independence Day – 15 August 2022

The 76thIndependence Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. Lieutenant TomthinKongkham, 18 Garhwal Rifles, commanding officer, Deomali was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. After the march past, the boys performed Band Display, Yogasana, Pyramid and several other cultural events based on patriotism. Students of Maa Sarada Vidyalaya also participated in the celebration.

Naveen Varan – 14 Aug. 2022

Naveen Varan - Freshers' Welcome was held on 14th August 2022 at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar. A special Puja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was held in the morning followed by a ritualistic Havan in which the newcomers took oaths and offered bel leaf. At 9.45 a.m the freshers were welcomed by senior students at secondary prayer hall, the freshers introduced themselves during the function. In the evening at Vivekananda Sabhagriha the newcomers presented various cultural shows and mesmerized the audience.

Holi Celebration

The festival of colours, Holi was celebrated on 18th March 2022 at Debabhumi Temple Complex.

Tithi Puja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna
The 187th birth tithi puja of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna is being observed with due solemnity at Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on 4th March 2022. Special Puja, Havan and arati are being performed at Secondary Prayer Hall. At the Higher Secondary Section, a special prayer was conducted which was followed by the unveiling of 'Ramakrishna Chetanna' a wall magazine brought out by the students of HS Hostel.
Devotees, staff members and others will be served with Kichuri prasad at noon after Bhog Arati.
Maha Shivaratri

On 1st March 2022, special puja of Lord Shiva was performed at the Devabhumi temple complex on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

Farewell Function

Farewell of outgoing students of Class X and XII of the session 2021-22 was conducted at Vivekananda Sabhagriha of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar on Saturday, 26th February 2022. Students presented speeches and songs and took blessings from Monastic members and Teachers. Light refreshments were served to all after the function.
